Leadgenerator.io MCP Server

Work with your Agentic Revenue Platform from Claude and other AI assistants.

Overview

The Leadgenerator.io MCP server connects your workspace to AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), such as Claude and ChatGPT. Once connected, you can ask the assistant about your review queue, companies, contacts, emails, replies, reports, and credits, and ask it to do most of what you do in the app: add and find companies and people, go through your review queue, send sequences, answer replies, write templates, change your agent settings, and set up mailboxes and sending domains.

The assistant works as you. It sees what you can see in Leadgenerator.io, and it can only make changes that your workspace administrator allows. Anything that approves, sends, or spends credits shows a card first, and nothing happens until you click.

Connect to Claude

You need a Leadgenerator.io account. Then, in Claude:

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Click Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Leadgenerator.io and paste this server URL:https://app.leadgenerator.io/mcp
  4. Click Add, then Connect.
  5. Sign in to Leadgenerator.io and allow access.

Connect to ChatGPT

You need a Leadgenerator.io account and ChatGPT on the web. On a company ChatGPT plan, your ChatGPT admin may need to allow custom MCP servers. In ChatGPT:

  1. Open Plugins in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Add, then Add custom MCP server.
  3. Name it Leadgenerator.io, paste this server URL, and leave the sign-in settings as they are:https://app.leadgenerator.io/mcp
  4. Sign in to Leadgenerator.io and allow access.
  5. In a new chat, select Leadgenerator.io and ask your first question.

Other assistants that support remote MCP servers connect the same way: add the server URL above and sign in to Leadgenerator.io when asked.

  • “Why didn't my agent run yesterday?”

Permissions and safety

  • The assistant only sees records in your own workspace. It finds new companies or people only when you ask, on a card you click.
  • Nothing is approved, sent, or deleted without your own click on a card.
  • Your workspace administrator decides whether the assistant can make changes. Without that permission, it can only read.
  • It edits the settings and signatures of your own mailboxes only. A teammate's mailbox is never edited.
  • Autopilot is never turned on without your own click on a confirmation card.
  • Anything that costs credits, such as finding companies, writing personalized emails, adding mailboxes, or turning on warmup, waits for you to confirm on a card.
  • It only does what you could do yourself in the app. For example, only a contact's owner can decide their reply or change their emails.
  • DNS provider tokens (GoDaddy or Cloudflare) are entered on a card and go straight to Leadgenerator.io. Never paste them into the chat.
  • Replies from prospects are shown to the assistant as information only, never as instructions to follow.

Credits

Some actions use your workspace's credits, the same as when you take them in the app:

  • Connecting a Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 mailbox: 200 credits per 30 days.
  • A new mailbox on a sending domain: 500 credits per 30 days, plus 1,000 with warmup.
  • Drafting knowledge from a website: the workspace's first build is free, and later ones use credits.
  • Finding new companies: about 10 credits for a search of up to 10 companies.
  • Finding a person's email after you add them.
  • Personalized email sequences, written for each person.
  • Companies the agent works after you add or approve them, or turn on auto-add.

Privacy

Workspace data is shared with your AI assistant only after you connect it, and only to answer your requests. Once the assistant receives it, the assistant's provider handles it under its own privacy policy. Read the full details in our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

The assistant says it can't make changes
Your workspace administrator hasn't allowed changes through MCP. Ask them, or make the change in the app.
No confirmation card appears
Some assistants can't show cards. The assistant will give you a link, or you can do the same thing in the Leadgenerator.io app.
A personal Gmail or Outlook mailbox won't connect
Only Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 mailboxes can be connected.
The connection stopped working
Disconnect Leadgenerator.io in your assistant's connector settings, then connect it again and sign in.
